Fuller Theological Seminary - 2012 - 2015 - Pasadena, CA
Masters of Divinity
My experience at Fuller was nothing short of exceptional. The School of Theology taught me how to read scripture not only in its written languages but also in its context. I learned how to take God’s word and let its timeless content breathe life into our lives and the world today. My courses in the School of Intercultural Studies taught me how to read space and place and see how God is at work all around us, even where we would least expect.
Liberty University - 2003 - 2007 - Lynchburg, VA
Bachelors of Science, Communications, and Ministry
Though I do not adhere to the doctrine/theology of the school, it was where I was at that point in my journey. Since my time at Liberty, my doctrine and theology have grown to be distinctively reformed. I also do not back the political activities/views the school has often represented.
Childhood - 1984 - 2003
I grew up the son of a pastor. My father highly valued Christian Education in our home and it was there where my journey with God began. When my siblings and I were young we regularly walked through the Westminster Catechism. Most of my fond memories as a child are moments I was with my dad visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, or pretending to preach sermons at my father’s pulpit.
